The conference was held on 22-24 September 2005.

The social program included:

• Conference dinner at restaurant Taidehallin klubi on Friday 23 September
• Visit to Hvitträsk on Saturday 24 September
• Visit to the Aalto House and Studio Aalto on Sunday 25 September

Joining Forces was one of the events of the Helsinki Design Week.
