Information for potential contributors

Editors

Series editors are Professor Ilpo Koskinen from the University of Art and Design Helsinki, and Thomas Binder from Center for Design Research at the Royal School of Architecture in Copenhagen. The editorial board will expand to other Nordic countries.

Refereeing process

Manuscripts are refereed by two anonymous referees.

Submissions and inquiries concerning possible book ideas

Contact series editors with an initial book proposal. In the proposal, please specify

>- the topic and the argument of the book
- plan for the content
- two sample chapters: preferably introduction and one chapter in a fairly well-developed form
- information about the writers
- rough schedule
- markets: to whom the book is aimed at, both primarily and secondarily, how many copies you expect to sell
- requirements for graphics

Good to know when planning submissions

We expect writers to take care of language revision locally. We strongly encourage people in design schools to use also local graphic designers and students: we not just wish, but also expect experimentation in graphics and layouting.
