16.5. 23:00
Good work everyone! It's astonishing how much design students can accomplish in a small spate of time. You'll get credits (ECTS points) as soon as I get your papres and accept them.
- send your papers to me. I'll read them through and comment them; then you can finish them
- as soon as you finish the concepts & make good "hot" presentations (Timo S's term), you can either present your work in industry, or join the Ludinno project group's meeting
- you can also refer to the Lab, Field, Gallery paper. It's been acepted for publication
- I did send your names to a colleague at Nokia. If she wants to contact you, I'll organize contacts

12.5. 17:10:
Timo's email is tsuomala aaat gmail.com.
6.5. 20:50: Several things today:
1. Components finally arrived. Jussi will be at the School tomorrow. Also, you should make sure you have workshop & machine resources for your designs.
2. I have to be in city center tomorrow afternoon, and can't meet you at the car tomorrow. Anyway, it's Jussi's day, and you can brief me tomorrow before roughly 1pm; I have to leave after that. Sorry for inconsistenty.
3. Timo Suomala mailed me after the working day: he things it is best to meet next week. This week he would just overload you.
4. Template for writing the paper is here (in Word format). Try to keep your stofy concise, i.e. less than 4-5 pages. Talk to me or Petra before you start to write: this makes your life far easier. This is a boring format, but it communicates a lot incredibly well in small space. That's why I use it. Naturally, you'll get extra time to finish your papers. The end of May sounds like a good thing to me.
5. Remember, I reserved € for you to present your work in a conference, company, etc. with the exception of Kai, everyone's going to be here next year (oh well, Ben's waiting for a decision), so this is not a problem. And, Kai only has to present himself as a Taik student when he chooses a place to present his work.
6. For those in Helsinki in Summer: I'll be off from 10 June to 20 June, and then from 25 June to 3 August. Traveling first for work, then for language (German this time), then for work. Petra leaves for Chicago in June and comes back at the end of the year.
5.5. 20:30: Several pieces of news today:
1. Important news. Components apparently went to a wrong adress. Jussi re-ordered them, and they should arrive tomorrow (Tuesday). Jussi will be at Taik on Tuesday. We finally get to building things!
2. I'll place a paper template on this site tomorrow to help your writing task. In preparation for writing, organize
3. On Wednesday while at the car downstairs, we'll talk about final presentation. Even though we have to cut the research part into one-two days, we should do it. I'll explain the template & what I expect from you. NEW 6.5.: I can't be at the car.
4. If you guys want to present your work in, say Stockholm, let me know by Wednesday. A few conceptsand research behind them are such that you can probably write full conference papers based on them. We can create a plan for you; those of you who leave the country after the semester (Kai?), can participate even at late as -09.
