Marjo Mäenpää is Professor of Media Management at the Aalto University*s School of Art and Design in the Department of Art and Media in Pori. She has worked as Dean of School fo Art and Media in Pori between 2005-2010 and head of the New Media Program for Professionals in the Media Lab of University of Art and Design 2001-2005. She is multimedia producer, teacher and planner of new media studies and former publisher and publishing manager. She has been lecturing in new media management, writing for information society, multimedia, accessibility of digital media, interface usability and www-design, information design and dramaturgy of hypertext in Finland and abroad. She has been working as a consultant and trainer for digital media projects as well in governmental as private sector. Since 1997 she has been critic for CD-roms and multimedia titles in the Helsingin Sanomat . Marjo Mäenpää is the founder and was the managing director of Publishing House Taifuuni Ltd. Since 1988 she has published over 200 books, mostly fiction and non-fiction from Eastern European countries. (Updated 25.1.2011)
